32 years ago february 17th. One of THE worst days. my dad passed away.
we knew it was coming since he had stage 4 colon cancer, but you still cannot prepare yourself for something like that. anyway,, i just wanted to post this video for my dad (and me)
It's a song by Pink. it's about her dad in Heaven. In it she references her dad meeting with his friends (bad paraphrasing i guess) and it takes me back to when my dad met up with his friends at a donut shop in Lemon Grove for coffee and chit chat.
one of those friends was none other than Marcus Allen's dad. That was one of dads claim to fame. he so enjoyed his daily 8am chats.
