Today is Thanksgiving. What i'm thankful for is my family, friends, a roof over my head, money in my pocket, decent health, and a sense of humor. (i'm sure there's more i could put, but you get the idea)
We celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday since hub had to work today. He's a manager at Walmart, and they are doing Black Friday on THURSDAY. yeah, Thursday. Big retail is slowly sucking the life right out of America. And why is it working for them (and other big retailers)? Everyone will go crazy losing their minds trying to get 1 of 4 Playstations or 55 inch television. Ridiculous.
In 25 years of marriage, both hub and i have worked Thanksgiving. By choice. All that changed this year. Whose bright idea was it to have Black Friday on a Thursday. Call it BLACK THURSDAY.
