Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers day to ALL of my beautiful, wonderful friends. Whenever you are at your lowest, you look out, and see your wonderful children, and realize, hey, I did something right, that no one can take away from me. We're MOMS, and that will always be one of our titles.

I want to dedicate mothers day to MY mother. Vera A. Bosang. While she's no longer with us here on earth, i know she's with me every day. in my heart, in the face of my daughter, in every breath I take. My mom was extremely ill, and disabled, pretty much from the time i was born, so we didn't do things like most families. But, mom could sew, cook, and make our daily life so interesting. So much so, that I just assumed that other families did things the same way we did. Mom had one lung (lost one to Tuberculosis), had COPD, and eventually, lost to a tough opponent, Lung Cancer. BUT, she would do things spur of the moment, like take us to Disneyland, or the Zoo. She made all of my clothes, getting any pattern i asked for, and whipping up an outfit in a couple hours. I was a lucky girl, and try to be the same way with my daughter, as my mom was with me.

I found, and posted, this on FB. I thought I'd share it as a mothers day tribute.
If roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a
bunch for me. Place them in my mother's arms and tell her they are from
me. Tell her I love her and miss her and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Remembering her is
easy, I do it every day but there is an ache within my heart that will
never go away. Please tell her that I love her and happy mother's day.

Hug your mom while they are here!
