Updates, i got em!

So, last week, Jenny had a sore throat for a few days. When she began to have difficulty swallowing, i made a doc appt. they did a swab in the office, and she tested negative for Strep. He did say, that they would take blood, and it could show up in that. They gave her Penicillin to take for 10 days.

The next day, she had a GREAT deal of difficulty swallowing, and some burning. It was enough of an issue, that I was concerned, and called the doctor. He called in a prescription for steroids aka Prednisone, and that seemed to do the trick.

This afternoon, the doctor called with the results of Jenny's bloodwork. She has mono! Yup. He said there was to be no kissing, shared drinks, etc for at least a month or so. I told him she's feeling much better, but he said she may be tired, and if she is, thats a symptom. Then he said not to tell her about being tired.....to which we both laughed.

So, Jenny punkin pie has mono. my brave little soldier.
