and just like that, 31 years!!! pretty much EVERYONE said it wouldn't last.
Hell, there were times that i wondered if we would.
we met January 23rd, moved in together Feb 1st, got engaged March 23rd and got married June 15th. All in 1991.
we survived my cancer, my Diabetic Ketoacidosis and near death. Made it through our daughter becoming sick and having part of her kidney removed. Survived hubs inner ear problem, and sometimes hypochondria, survived bankruptcy, and my insane sister in law too.
i'll say, that i am a lucky girl. Hub is the cook for us (burning down a kitchen 1 month into marriage pretty much ensures i'm banned from the kitchen). we are a team. He does laundry and i fold it and put it away. he takes out the trash and does dishes, and i am now the book keeper. No more bankruptcies for us.
So, here's to another 31 years.
